Type of Fest: Culture festival

Tollwood is one of the most popular events of the Bavarian capital. It is held twice a year – in summer and winter. It attracts more than a million people every year. The main feature of the Summer Festival is music of all styles and genres. Popular music groups perform on a daily basis throughout the period of the festival, delighting fans of the known compositions and new music.

Originally, the festival was founded as a party for creative people, but as a result it has become so popular that now it is visited annually by more than a million visitors! Christmas market offers a broad range of Christmas decorations, handmade goods, pottery, clothing and, of course, Christmas mulled wine and delicious pastries.  Noteworthy music, circus, theater and information performans take place in the tents every day.
