Sandkerva is a traditional Bamberg Festival, which is held annually in August on the banks of the River Regnitz. It is the largest festival in Germany. The main feature of the festival is a costume contest of fishermen on the river Regnitz. You can also take a gondola, or listen to live music. At the end of the event organizers arrange the big fireworks.
